1. What you're buying

InTheAnswer arranges paid article placements (“placements”) on third-party publications. Each placement is one article on the named publication containing a mention of and link to your brand, as described on the placement's catalog entry. Placements are paid content: publishers may label them as sponsored, partner or brand content.

2. Publishers keep editorial control

• Publishers decide whether to accept an article, where it appears, its labels and disclaimers, and the final link attribute (dofollow or nofollow).
• A publisher may decline a brand or topic, ask for changes, or delay publishing. We pass these requests on promptly.
• Once an article is live, publishers generally won't edit its text or links. Please check your brief and any supplied article carefully before approving it.
• Publishers may remove content that breaks their guidelines, search-engine rules or the law, or after a valid legal claim.

3. Content and links

• Unless you choose to supply the article, we write it for you. You provide the target URL, anchor text and any notes at checkout.
• You confirm that you have the right to promote the linked brand and that your content is accurate, lawful and not misleading.
• Regional-language publications need articles in that language. Extra images or translation may cost more if a publisher charges for them; we'll ask before adding any cost.
• We don't accept content for illegal products or services, and regulated categories (for example gambling, crypto, health and finance) must follow the publisher's rules and the law where the publication operates.

4. Timelines

Turnaround estimates on placement pages start once the publisher approves the article. Writing and approval usually add a few days. You receive the sample or live URL for every placement.

5. Prices and payment

• Prices are per placement, in US dollars, and are confirmed at checkout. Some publisher rates are converted from other currencies, so catalog prices can change; the price you pay is the one confirmed in your order.
• “Price on request” placements are quoted before you pay.
• Payment is due in advance, by card through Stripe or by invoice and bank transfer. Work starts once payment is received.

6. If a placement can't go live

If a publisher declines or cannot publish your article, we'll offer a comparable replacement placement or refund that placement. Once an article is published, the placement is delivered; removals made later by the publisher are handled case by case with the publisher.

7. No guaranteed results

Domain metrics come from third-party tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz) and can differ between tools and over time. Our AEO score estimates citation likelihood; it is not a promise. We don't guarantee rankings, traffic, or citations by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Overviews or any other system. See how the score works.
